Car Insurance Mazda (Car Insurance). What's a car with good mileage for a younger person?

What's a car with good mileage for a younger person? Ok, so I am getting a car when I turn 17 or 18. My parents are buying it for me. I'm a really good driver btw. My dads first car was a mustang...thats what he wants to get me, my mom likes the altima. I like both. Lol I wanted to know of a car that has good mileage. I live in Mississippi, so mileage isn't that big of a deal, but it's a plus. Lol. Any suggestion would be helpful.

Mileage or gas mileage?

Mazda . How to Change the Coil Pack in a 2005 Town & Country

The Chrysler Town & Country was introduced in 1984 as a "carlike" van, and later was the reason for the term "minivan" to come into existence. The 2005 Chrysler Town & Country was produced with an option of either a 3.3-liter V-6 or a 3.8-liter V-6 engine. The 2005 Town & Country was equipped with multiport electronic fuel injection, and an ignition system that did not require a distributor. The coil pack on the Town & Country, regardless of engine size, was identical in nature. The coil distributes the spark throughout the engine and is controlled by the engine control computer.
Difficulty:Moderately Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
New ignition coil or coil pack
1/4-inch drive ratchet and socket set, with 4-inch or longer extension
Masking tape
Marker or pen

Step by Step :
1
Tear six pieces of masking tape about 2 inches in length each. Stick the torn tabs of masking tape onto the radiator shroud, or front of the engine compartment. Label the tabs 1 through 6. Wrap the "1" tape label around the upper left or first spark plug wire. Tape the next five wires in order from top to bottom on the left of the coil module, and then on the right. The numbers on the left should read 1, 2, 3, and the numbers on the right should read 4, 5, 6. Labeling the wires will help during the reinstalling process.
2
Remove the wires from the coil pack.
3
Remove the coil pack mounting bolts, using a 1/4-inch ratchet and socket, along with a 4-inch or longer extension. The extension will give you greater leverage and maneuverability on the coil module. Turn the mounting bolts counterclockwise to remove them completely.
4
Wedge a flathead screwdriver between the coil pack and the engine. Shimmy the screwdriver until the coil module releases from the engine. Continue to shimmy the screwdriver around the coil pack in a clockwise pattern if the coil pack does not release right away. Do not attempt to pry the coil off in one motion or you will damage the coil and possibly the engine parts beneath the coil. Remove the coil pack from the vehicle.

Mazda . How do I Replace a Coil Pack in a 1988 Chevy Cavalier?

The 1988 Chevy Cavalier comes with several engines, including the 2.0-, 2.8- and 3.1-liter engines, all of which use the same process for replacing the coil pack. On the 3.1-liter engine, the "idle learn" procedure must be completed, using a Tech 1 scan tool, after the coil pack has been replaced, so a shop with access to the appropriate scan tool should be used to service the coil packs. The other engines do not require an idle learn procedure, and the coil pack can be replaced by anyone.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Set of wrenches
Set of sockets
Tape
Marker

Step by Step :
1
Disconnect the negative battery cable, then lay it aside, ensuring that it does not touch metal. Mark the spark plug wires so that you know where they go when you put them back on. Pull the spark plug wires off the coil pack.
2
Unplug the electrical wiring harness connector from the coil. Remove the mounting bolts, using the appropriate socket, then remove the coil pack from the engine.
3
Place the new coil pack on the engine and install the mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 19 ft.-lbs. of torque on the 2.8-liter engine, and 89 in.-lbs. of torque on the 2.0- and 3.1-liter engines.
4
Reconnect the plug wires by snapping them into place. Reattach the wiring harness connector. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

Don't try to open the radiator pressure cap or coolant reservoir to get water to wet the rag. The pressure in the overheated system can cause hot liquid to spray out and burn you. If you don't have a wet rag, wrap aluminum foil around the fuel line and leave it in place after you get started. No aluminum foil? Then just sit there and wait for the darn thing to cool down. Eventually, the vapor lock will go away. If neither of the above seems to be the case, try the following set of steps that applies to your vehicle. 954 Car Insurance 2008 chevrolet express 1500 passenger lsvan3d 343802

For Vehicles With fuel injection 1. Try cranking the engine while someone sprays fuel injector cleaner into the throttle body. If the engine starts and then dies, it's a fuel problem. If the engine cranks without firing, it's an ignition system or compression problem. 2. If the engine did start with fuel injector cleaner, find out whether the fuel pump isn't pumping fuel or the computer isn't triggering the fuel injectors.

In either case, you're better off leaving the repairs to a professional. A! ? C Part IV: Dealing with On-the-Road Emergencies. For i/ehictes ufith carburetors 1. Look down the carburetor barrel and push the accelerator pump arm. Is fuel squirting into the venturi? If so, then the float bowl is full, but it still may not be getting a fresh supply of fuel when it needs it. 2. Disconnect the fuel pump end of the hose that leads from the carburetor to the fuel pump (see Figure 21-2) and place the end of the hose in ajar or plastic bag. If you don't have anything to put the hose in, forget this entire procedure. Never let gasoline run onto the ground. It's flammable and toxic to the environment. Also, be sure not to let gasoline run out of the hose onto your clothes or the engine. And if it's very hot, fan the area to disburse the fumes. Somewhere along that line is the fuel filter. The filter could have jammed — especially if it hasn't been changed in ages.

Figure 21-2: A hose runs from the fuel To fuel tank pump to the carburetor. To carburetor 3. Bump the starter and see whether gasoline squirts out of the hose. If it does, then your fuel filter and fuel pump are probably all right. If nothing comes out of the hose, you probably have either a plugged fuel filter, a defective fuel pump, or a broken fuel line — or you're out of gas. 4. Try to eliminate the fuel filter as the villain by removing it (Chapter 13 tells you how) to see whether gas comes out of the hose. If you changed the filter recently, ignore this step and look under the rear end of the car to see whether fuel is leaking from a broken fuel line. .Chapter 21: What to Do If Your Car Drops Dead or Won't Start Fire If your engine is getting enough air and fuel, you're probably having ignition system trouble. As I explain in Chapter 4, the "fire" is really electric current that's stored in the battery, replaced by the alternator, amplified by the coil and, in some vehicles, directed by a distributor to each spark plug. (Newer vehicles have distributorless ignition systems — Chapter 5 has the details.) If something along the way goes wrong and the spark fails to reach the plugs, all the air and fuel in the world won't produce combustion in the cylinders, and the vehicle won't go. Because the engine was running before it died, it's probably not the fault of the battery, solenoid, or starter, which brings you to the distributor cap — assuming that your vehicle has one. If you have a distributorless system, you'll need professional help to check it out. Checking the distributor cap

Mazda . Which is better american cars or european cars?

With the engine off, check to see whether the cables that run from the distributor cap to the spark plugs are pushed down securely at each end. Check the cable that runs from the distributor cap to the coil to be sure that it, too, is secure. How about the smaller wires that come out of the coil? Because many cars now have high-energy ignition systems that operate at 47,000 volts or higher, pulling a distributor or spark plug cable to test for a spark is unsafe. If your car has an electronic ignition system, the ignition module may have gone bad. If you have an electronic ignition system or a distributorless ignition system, skip the rest of the checks in this section. If your car has a non-electronic ignition system, follow the instructions in Chapter 12 to remove the distributor cap and look at the points. Do they open and close when you bump the starter? If not, adjust them so that they do and try to start the car again. If there's still no action, your points could be oxidized or fouled by a bit of grease or oil. Bump the engine so that the points are closed, and insert the tip of a screwdriver, nail file, matchbook cover, or feeler gauge between them to rub the point surfaces and eliminate the oxidation or dirt. If you still can't get the engine to turn over, move on to the next section. Replacing the rotor, condenser, and points If you've kept your old rotor, points, and condenser in the trunk of your car because they were still working when you replaced them during a tune-up, you can use these parts to try to find and correct your problem. First, following instructions in Chapter 12, try replacing the rotor with the old one. If that doesn't work, replace the condenser. If that doesn't work, replace the points. Don't worry about adjusting the point gap; as long as the points open and close, the engine will run. Part IV: Dealing with On-the-Road Emergencies. I've been told that the most frequent cause of engine failure on vehicles with old-style, non-electronic distributors is improper lubrication of the cam when the points were changed. Because of this, the little rubbing block gets worn down, and then, even when the block rests on the cam lobe, there's not enough surface to force the points apart. That's why, if you have a nonelectronic ignition system, it's important to check your dwell every 5,000 miles and replace points at every tune-up (see Chapter 12 for instructions). If you've checked everything out and your vehicle still won't go, you're probably going to have to wait for help. Sometimes part of your engine has given out. Sometimes it's the transmission. If that's the case, you may be saying good-bye to Old Faithful. On the bright side, you usually have plenty of warning before a car gives up the ghost. Of course, if you haven't checked and maintained your vehicle properly — if you've ignored the warnings, the knockings, the smoke from the tailpipe, the hesitations and the other symptoms I cover in Chapter 20 — well, you asked for it. Handling a Vehicle that Overheats on a Hot Day

Mazda . What is wrong with your car if there is white smoke coming from the tail pipe and the oil is not milky on the dipstick?
